The magnitute of the threat to key industry has grown with the rise in white collar crime, blue collar crime, terrorist activities, violance, labour unrest, espionage and other problems. This danger to the industry and society can not be ignored. The need of the hour is to recognise this problem and go for remedial steps to prevent or atleast lesser the danger. Institute of Intelligence and Security Management got its inception in the year 1991 on a hired plot of land admeasuring 3 Acres at Nagpur and subsequently it was shifted to Karjat in the year 2001 where company is owning a land plot admeasuring 8 Acres which in houses 6 Block building for the purpose of lecture halls, a 100 Trainee Barrack, a Mess house, Staff dormatory, Stores room, Admin office, Bunglow for principal, Parade Ground, Obstecals Course ground, play ground, fire-fighting demo Area etc. With the growth in strength of guarding personnel company descided to raise additional training centres in various locations of the country. In the moov another two training establishments located at Bharauli (Gorakhpur) in the year 2005 and Chennai in the year 2006 were setup.
